Evangelicals participate in the organization of the Day of Healthy Leisure for Minors and Youth in Alicante.
(ALICANTE, 06/28/2019) Young people and minors from the city of Alicante, as well as young people who came to visit the city due to the fires, had the opportunity to participate in a Street Soccer night tournament organized by the Alicante City Council and Platform 0,0 with the collaboration of Diaconía and the Evangelical Council of the Valencian Community.
Along with this activity, Platform 0.0 organized a Graffiti contest and presented prizes to those young and younger who, when taking the breathalyzer test, gave 0.0 in alcohol consumption. The evening was enlivened by a DJ hired by the same Platform.
The young people showed a lot of interest in the event and participated with pleasure in the activities that were proposed to them from the beginning, at 11 p.m., until finishing four hours later.
The purpose of this event was to present a leisure alternative against alcohol consumption since it is a problem detected in these events. This Healthy Leisure Day was visited by Julia Llopis, Councilor for Social Welfare, Education and Health of the City of Alicante.
At the end of the event the trophies of the tournament were delivered, highlighting the trophy to the exemplary team.
